Embodied Yoga.
An embodied yoga practise is different to a standard yoga session in that it involves learning somatic discernment, meaning that you’re listening to the cues of your body and being guided by those sensations rather than purely being guided by the teacher or the posture being offered.
Embodied yoga allows you to tune into what your body needs to receive from the practise and allowing that to be the compass that helps you navigate through the breath & movement.
It is a non-forceful practise that allows you to slow down and really connect to your body to incorporate more or less challenge when needed.
This means that you can modify the practise to meet the rhythms of your own body.
